Tablescape for Spring Formal Supper

Georgia Historical Plates
used with Johnson Brothers Blue Willow.
For more information on these plates visit Georgia plates .

This Georgia plate depicts the University of Georgia.
It is described as"Campus in the fifties".
 Here, they mean 1850's!

The salad plate is from one of my favorite patterns, Rotunda, by Mikasa.

The dessert plate and sherbet bowl are the depression glass pattern,
Block Optic, made by Anchor Hocking.

Tea pitcher, cups and saucers are Johnson Brothers Blue Willow.

Flatware is Golden Ribbon Edge by Gorham.
and Iced Tea Glasses are Laurin Gold also by Gorham.
Placemats, napkins, napkin rings,
candlesticks and vase are all older purchases or gifts.

I am so excited to be participating in my first
"Tablescape Thursday"!

2011 Perfectly Polished Spring Formal

Held at the University of Georgia Coliseum,
the Perfectly Polished Spring Formal is a

Play ball !

For John, one of the greatest things about Spring is Baseball.  I am almost as excited as he is about the beginning of the season.
